Join local, regional, and state experts in adaptation planning to discuss opportunities to create a more climate resilient San Joaquin County.
The Summit will focus on sharing outcomes from the San Joaquin Council of Governments (SJCOG) Climate Adaptation and Resiliency Study, a year-long effort to evaluate where we should focus efforts to improve resiliency and increase the reliability of our transportation system. At the Summit, we invite a cross-disciplinary group of city and county planners, flood managers, and public works; local non-profits; environmental groups; and transit providers (among many others) to:
- Provide feedback on key findings of the study (key transportation vulnerabilities, planning gaps, opportunities for Regional Transportation Plan integration)
- Learn about the next project focused on adaptation action and opportunities to get involved
- Discuss related resilience planning in the County and broader region and brainstorm opportunities for integration
The event is scheduled for Feb 26, 2020, 9:30am at the San Joaquin Council of Governments. Please visit our Eventbrite page to register for this event.
