What is an Environmental Impact Report?
An Environmental Impact Report (PEIR) is an informational document that discloses the impacts of discretionary government actions (such as the RTP) on the environment. It is intended to inform decision makers, responsible agencies and the general public about the range of potential environmental impacts that could result from the implementation of a discretionary action.
