Regional Resiliency Implementation Plan and Adaptation Guidance (Phase II)

SJCOG concluded the Climate Adaptation and Resiliency Study (Phase 1) which identified planning gaps, baseline climate conditions, and key infrastructure vulnerabilities to climate change to increase the resiliency of the transportation system. The Phase II Regional Resiliency Implementation Plan and Adaptation Guidance furthers the strategies of the Phase I study by providing specific solutions to transportation asset degradation, anticipated travel delay, emergency evacuation, safety, and the environmental impacts of climate change. The study will include recommendations, project ideas, and specific needs assessments for climate related issues found within the region to promote transportation resiliency and reliability into SJCOG’s planning and Programming activities. Links to the survey are below. The survey will be available until end of day February 28, 2021.
