Public Participation Plan
Public Participation
Among its many roles, SJCOG serves as the Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO), Regional Transportation Planning Agency (RTPA), and Local Transportation Sales Tax Authority for San Joaquin County. Public participation is essential to the integrated approach to regional transportation, land use, and environmental planning led by the agency.  Whether you are a member of SJCOG or a private citizen, you have a role to play in regional planning decisions. The Public Participation Plan provides a mechanism for bringing a broad range of diverse viewpoints and values in SJCOG's activities and programs.
