The following are corrections to Amendment No. 1
Page 11 V-B. Mileage Requirement
There is no mileage requirement in this contract; however all tow trucks must pass required CHP inspections. The minimum GVWR is 19,500 lbs. Contractor’s vehicles will be exclusively dedicated to the Freeway Service Patrol during its hours of operation. The trucks for this RFP are to be certified FSP vehicles and with all drivers to be FSP certified drivers.

C. Minimum Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) of 19,500 lbs.
F. Carrier bed shall be a minimum of 19 feet in length and may be of steel or aluminum construction. The bed may be left unfinished or painted silver, black or FSP blue.
Page 12 V-D. Specifications for back-up trucks.
The backup truck must be a flatbed and must meet the same requirements as the regular tow trucks in service.

The following are corrections to Amendment No. 1
1.V. EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS – Page 11
V-C Tow Trucks (correction to lettering of items below and weight/description on item C:
    A. Flat-bed carriers only
    B. Body painted white in color
    C. Minimum Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) of 14,000 lbs.
     D. Total weight of the truck, including the load, must fall within the manufacturer’sGVWR and not exceed either the front or rear axle weight ratings. 
    E. Front axle load must be a minimum of 50 percent of its normal or unladen weight after any load is in place.
    F. Carrier bed shall be a minimum of 21 feet in length and may be of steel or aluminum construction. The bed may be left unfinished or painted silver, black or FSP blue.
    G. Equipped at a minimum with the materials identified below where any equipment not placed  in a storage compartment shall be secured to the truck

V-K-6 Operator Uniform
2. An Operator shall not wear the FSP uniform at any time other than while working for the FSP. In no event shall an Operator wear the FSP uniform while performing a commercial tow job outside the FSP program.
